A potential member of the Pakistan Coal Association may be a private limited (Pvt.) company, public limited (Ltd.) company, sole proprietorship, partnership firm, or an association of persons engaged in coal mining, trading, transportation, or allied activities.

The applicant must be a Pakistani national and the business entity must hold a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration, where applicable, in the name of the business concern.

An application for membership must be proposed and seconded by existing members of the Pakistan Coal Association and submitted in accordance with the Association’s prescribed rules and regulations.

Membership of the Pakistan Coal Association is granted for a period of one year and expires on the 31st day of March each year, subject to renewal as per the Association’s policies.
